Our current rates are as follows:

  • Individual Therapy
    • Diagnostic Evaluation / Initial Session (45 minutes): $175 per session.
    • Individual Therapy – Standard Session (45 minutes): $175 per session.
    • Individual Therapy – Extended Session (80 minutes): $311.11
  • EMDR Therapy
    • Diagnostic Evaluation / Initial Session (45 minutes): $175 per session.
    • EMDR Therapy – Standard Session (45 minutes): $175 per session.
    • EMDR Therapy – Extended Session (80 minutes): $311.11

Cancellation Policy

Dr. Dooley requires 24 hours notice for appointment changes or cancellations. Late cancellations will result in the full charge for the scheduled session. In cases of illness, blizzard, or other such circumstances Dr. Dooley may waive the late cancellation fee, though this will be at Dr. Dooley’s full discretion. Please note that insurance plans to not reimburse clients for fees resulting from late cancellations or missed sessions.

Please note that Dr. Dooley’s phone does not receive or send text messages. Any cancellations attempted over text messaging will not be received and will not not constitute adequate notice of a cancellation.

Insurance

Dr. Dooley is out-of-network for all insurance carriers, which means that his services will not covered as part of an insurance plan’s “in-network” coverage. Therefore all services are provided at a Fee-for-Service basis, and there is no guarantee that services provided will be reimbursed by an out-of-network insurance plan. Please consult with your insurance plan and check your out-of-network benefits carefully, before assuming that services will be covered.

Important Out-of-Network Information

  • Clients are responsible for paying all fees at the time of service, though they may submit an itemized bill of services (often called a “Superbill”) to their insurance company to obtain reimbursement. according to their plans benefits. Your insurance company will determine the appropriate reimbursement amount, if applicable, based on your plan.
  • Please note that you are responsible for paying all fees, regardless of insurance reimbursement amounts.
  • Superbills are available for you to print at your convenience on the client portal. Please let Dr. Dooley know if you have questions about submitting Superbills for reimbursement.

Health Spending Accounts

Dr. Dooley is able to accept payments from cards that are linked to your health spending account. Please note that charges arising from a late cancellations or missed sessions cannot be charged to a health spending account.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance a Good Faith Estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.

• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
